The NCPTA
For fifty years the NCPTA has been providing information and guidance to parent teacher associations throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. As a charity and membership organisation the NCPTA has established a portfolio of membership benefits which help PTAs maximise the energetic and committed support they give to their local schools.
Fundraising and engaging parents in school life are fundamental activities for PTAs and the NCPTA is pleased to offer a growing range of valued member services. We are privileged to work in partnership with over 13,000 associations and to represent their parental voice in the education sector.
The role of today’s PTA is diverse and encompasses many schemes and projects including fundraising, social events and providing the vital link between home and school. In addition to supporting such efforts, our role is to ensure that the profile and outstanding contribution made by PTAs is recognised along with the difference they bring to school life.
The NCPTA is proud to support, encourage and share good practice and innovative ideas. At the same time ensuring that we continue to listen to our membership so we can provide the services and opportunities PTAs need to create and maintain positive partnerships with schools.
The importance of parental involvement is now clearly recognised. We look forward to supporting PTAs during the next fifty years and beyond.
